Trapped On An Island Until I Build A Boat
MrBeast, Chandler, Nolan, Hase, and Darius stranded on a Pacific island, must build a sailboat to sail ~4 miles to another island.
- Build (Days 1-4) :: Shelter on Day 1. Hase built prototype on Day 2. Scoured island for bamboo and washed-up trash (blue barrels for buoyancy). Nolan nearly passed out from heat stroke. Built catamaran-style raft with 4 barrels, bamboo, deck, rudder, and sail. Passed float test.
- The voyage :: Set sail with the tide. First hours went well, then currents pulled them in circles. Jimmy got seasick, Chandler collapsed. Darius paddled nonstop for 7+ hours. After 8 hours a tide shift pushed them toward the island — distance dropped from 2.9 miles to under 1 mile.
- The failure :: At ~0.5 miles, the tide shifted against them. Despite 12 hours of paddling, they couldn't close the gap. Shot a flare, got helicoptered out. MrBeast visibly emotional — called it the hardest challenge he's ever done.
